Clients Before you go to the expense of engaging an Architect, we can provide an accurate estimate of costs for the proposed work. This would be based on your description, required specification and approximate sizes. You can then decide if the scale of work is within your budget and engage an Architect to prepare drawings. You will know what price to expect to pay for the proposed work and be able to see what costs are involved at all stages. If you receive quotations from contractors that are considerably lower than the estimate, it is possible that they may not be experienced in that size or type of work, and may not have priced all aspects accurately. This could lead to unexpected costs. We can provide you with an un-priced estimate for you to submit to contractors for quotations. This way you can be sure that each contractor is quoting for exactly the same work. You can then decide on which contractor to engage by checking; references, reputation and guarantees. |
